Pictures with a single colour theme.
49 Images submitted by 9 authors

Theme 4 (May 2021)- "Self Portraits"
A photographer's challenge, to take his own image.
Try to control the lighting and image from in front of the camera.
32 images from 9 authors.

Theme 3 (April 2021)- "Destinations"
Places visited that the authors want to go back to.
An amazing 75 submissions from 14 people.

Theme 2 (March 2021) - "Table-top" - Any subject taken as a table top picture with control over lighting
26 Images submitted

Theme 1 (February 2021)- "Lockdown" - Any photos taken between March 2020 and February 2021.
22 Images submitted

The Club are having Monthly Themed Subjects
Members and friends can send in photographs to be added to a portfolio.
2 entries per Month per Theme.

At Present, due to ongoing restrictions, we will not be holding meetings during the 2020/2021 Session.

Providing the Covid situation improves during 2021 it is hoped the Club will be able to recommence around September/October 2021.

Any updates to this situation will be advised by email to existing members and posted here on the website and on Facebook.

As a Club we value the health and safety of our Members and Visitors, so we will not commence meetings in the Carrick Centre until all the required measures are in place and Members and Visitors are able to feel both safe and comfortable.
At all times we will adhere to the most recent Government Guidelines in place.

Thank you for your continued interest in Gryffe Camera Club.

So, counting down to Christmas, bringing thoughts of "I wonder what Santa will Bring", "Will I eat too much", "Will I be allowed out to take Photos...".
All these things are true, but after such a strange year, with limited chance to get out and take those special photographs, no Camera Club meetings and restricted socialising, maybe just sending a snap of you and yours to distant family and friends could be a good thing to do.
They don't have to be "Studio shots", just the simple "Happy Snap".
Make them smile this Christmas........

Scottish Nature Photography Awards 2020
celebrating nature, wildlife and landscape photography and filmmaking in Scotland.
Entries close at 24:00 hours GMT on Monday 30th November 2020.
The Awards are open to professional and amateur photographers and filmmakers from around the world, but entries must be taken in Scotland within 5 years of the closing date.

Hello to all Members and followers of Gryffe Camera Club.
In the light of current Covid19 restrictions and with the aim of keeping Members, Speakers, Visitors and Judges protected from the risks involved with meetings, the Commitee have decided the following.

The Club will postpone starting up during the remainder of 2020.

The earliest date we anticipate re-commencing is 3rd February 2021.

Hello All.

As a Club, we had intended starting back to the 2020/2021 Session on the 2nd September 2020.

As this was not possible due to Covid19 restrictions and guidelines set by the govornment, the Commitee will constantly review our ability to meet as a Group.
As soon as we can advise the start date and the forward program of meetings and where possible, Speakers and Judges, this will be communicated.

This session is going to be a challenge and we ask that Members and Potential new Members bear with us during these difficult times as we try to keep the Club moving forward.

2020 Annual Digital Competition - In Lockdown

The results are in for the Digital Images entered into the 2020 Annual Competition.

Due to Coronavirus19 Lockdown restrictions, the club had postponed the Print part of the Annual Competition, but using the ability to send the Digital images without direct contact, the entries were sent to the judge - Libby Smith of Carluke CC.

In the B section, there were 6 entries.

In the A section, there were 27 entries.
